Ken Harvie

Our Team

Ken has had a diverse business background ranging from finance to retail sales to management in the retail sales sector before tackling land, commercial and residential development full time in 2000. Prior to the formation of CONCEPT. Investment Partners Ltd. in 2021, Ken had been involved in business and real estate development in Alberta for more than 15 years which saw over $100 million in land, commercial and residential projects. As a Founding Partner in his former companies his roles included the oversight of all real estate developments from concept to completion within the Real Estate Groups and visioning for the Business Development Groups of the Partnerships.

In his 20 plus years of real estate development Ken has been involved in developing close to 1000 acres of land, over 500 residential units, 50,000 square feet of office development and almost 500,000 square feet of retail. Some of the Tenants included; Tim Hortons, Mac’s Convenience, Alberta Treasury Branch, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Brick Warehouse, PetSmart, Dollarama, Bed Bath and Beyond, Sobeys, Future Shop and the TJX Company with Winner’s and HomeSense.

Lisa grew up in Lethbridge and moved to Calgary in 2002, embarking on a long and successful career in the energy sector. Beginning with her time at Husky Energy, Lisa led many successful teams and initiatives, progressing in her experience and roles. Starting first as an analyst in crude oil marketing, she found her passion in identifying new markets, business opportunities, and enhanced profitability; ultimately moving into business development. Lisa held various roles including Senior Commercial & Development Representative, Manager of Commercial & Development, and Senior Manager of Commercial Development. Lisa and her team worked cross-functionally in the organization to assess and negotiate large multi year contracts, with a strong focus on customer service, execution, and creating win-wins. Lisa then went on to accept the role of Director of Commercial and Development for Gibson Energy, where she led key successful projects and contracts with Gibson’s valued clients and customers. Lisa prides herself on her leadership, team management and overall reputation in the industry, and was invited to join high profile committees and programs in the Oil & Gas industry. Embracing a new challenge and opportunity, Lisa returned to Lethbridge in 2021 to accept the position of Director, Commercial, Corporate and Customer Services, leading a sizeable division that included: Information Technology, People & Culture, Treasury & Financial Services, Facilities, Fleet, Customer Service/311, Opportunity Lethbridge (Real Estate & Land), and the airport. Lisa holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Royal Roads University and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Queens University. Lisa greatly values building exceptional relationships, working with diverse teams, and has a strong “get it done” approach to business.

Amber Panczak

Office Manager

Amber is an enthusiastic, likeable and approachable person who has worked in many diverse office settings. Her nearly 20 years of corporate experience comes from her time in the law, engineering and oil & gas industries, as well as with a land development/property management company. Working as a real estate appraisal practitioner for 4 years in Calgary, Amber gained a great deal of knowledge in land development, property management and general real estate. Customer service, payroll, administration, benefit fundamentals and a comprehensive understanding of the full accounting cycle, are a few of the highlights in Amber’s portfolio.

Amber grew up on a farm near Warner, Alberta where she was avid in sports and received her high school diploma. She went to Lethbridge College and received her post secondary education and also took numerous professional courses throughout her career.  Amber’s family has been involved in the real estate world for over 40 years and it has always been of great interest to her.   

Amber Panczak is a business woman and a leader. Her positive and magnetic personality coupled with her education/office experience and common-sense upbringing has helped her to earn her place as a valued member of the CONCEPT. Investment Partners team. 

Amanda Vaughan is a highly dedicated, hardworking, and passionate individual who thrives on productivity. She has worked in various Administration roles over the past 15+ years, alongside senior executives for large corporations to small boutique companies, and she has proven her continued determination to support her team and ensure the company is always performing to the best of its ability. 

Amanda was born and raised in Calgary AB, and spent 10 years in the beautiful West Kootenays, before returning to Calgary. She soon realized that she missed the small town feel and friendliness of the Kootenays and eventually made her way to Lethbridge. She may be new to the city; however, Lethbridge has welcomed her and has made her feel quite at home!

Amanda is an Event Planner by trade and enjoys planning all types of events from business meetings, social gatherings, conferences, weddings, and anything in between using her gift of organization and an attention to detail that is unmatched. She has high customer service standards and greets each person who enters the office with a warm smile. Amanda is a powerful force in the workplace, applying her positive attitude for a successful day, every day.
